A distinguished company, including the Duke of Kent, met Dominions officers at the Mansion House, where the Lord Mayor (Sir William Coxen) who gave a luncheon lo the officers, welcomed "men who have come thousands of miles at great sacrifice to join in the common cause." He added that no gathering at the Mansion House could have a greater significance.
