INCREASE IN BRITISH STRENGTH since outbreak of war. STATEMENT BY MINISTER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. February 9. In the House of Commons the Air Minister. Sir Kingsey Wood, was asked for a statement on effective frontline fighter strength in view of the nearing prospect of a mass air attack on shipping and ports.
