A special guard is being maintained at the Dublin residence of Sir John Maffey. The police will watch protest meetings tonight, and vigilance has not been relaxed. The Birmingham police are patrolling all points where members of the I.R.'A. might endeavour to strike. London precautions include a close watch on all Government buildings. with an extra guard at Parliament Buildings, and at Westminster Abbey.
