RECRUITING RALLY

ACTIVITIES IN DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. A recruiting rally in the Town Hall, addressed last evening by Mr J. A. Lee, M.P., and Lieut-Colonel Falconer attracted over 3000. Prior to the meeting 5 planes from the Taieri dropped 10,000 leaflets over the city. Recruiting vans in a parade, secured only seven enlistments in the street, but the effect of the rally is expected to materialise in the next few days at enlistment headqttartets.
