Pan-Am;erican Airways announces that the Civil Aeronautical Authority’s trial examiner has recommended the granting of permission for a San Fran-cisco-New Zealand Service. It still awaits the authority’s and then President Roosevelt’s approval. The announcement said it is not able to indicate even an approximate date for starting the service, which will be fortnightly at first, then weekly, by 72-passenger flying boats.
