GERMAN SAVAGERY
ATTACKS ON LIGHTSHIPS SPECIAL PROTECTION BEING PROVIDED. FL'OATS IN OUTER POSITIONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.42 a.m.) RUGBY. February 7. “ Mr Winston Churchill, in the House of Commons, said in view of the savage anarchic attacks by German aircraft upon lightships round the coast and the murder of some crews, special measures would be taken to provide protection for this service and where possible, lightfloats would replace lightships in outer positions.
