ALLIED SUPREME COUNCIL MEETS COMPLETE AGREEMENT REACHED ON ALL POINTS. SPIRIT OF CLOSE CO-OPERATION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. PARIS. February 5. A meeting of the Allied Supreme War Council was held today and was attended by the French members MM. Daladier (Premier), Campinchi (Navy), La Chambre (Air), and the British members, Mr Chamberlain (Prime Minister). Lord Halifax (Foreign Affairs), Mr Churchill (Navy),. Mr Stanley (War Secretary), and Sir Kingsley Wood (Air) together with naval, military and air officers. The council examined every aspect of the various factors of the present situation as they affect the general, conduct of the war in the spirit of close co-operation which inspires the actions of the two Governments with the object of still greater efficacy in the Franco-British collaboration. The council paid special attention to questions of supply and reached complete agreement on all points.

This was the first occasion on which the three chiefs of the fighting services had attended the council. M. Daladier stated subsequently that harmony had been complete. “It was the finest War Council meeting I have ever attended." —By radio.
