TWO CANDIDATES RETURNED UNOPPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON. February 5. In the City of London by-election. Sir Andrew Duncan was returned unopposed, replacing Sir Alan Anderson, who has retired. In the East Swansea by-election. Mr D. L. Mort was returned unopposed, replacing Mr David Williams, who has retired owing to ill-health; Sir Andrew Duncan is a National Government candidate and Mr Mort is Labour.
