THREE AIR FORCE MEN KILLED

PLANE FALLS INTO SEA NEAR WAIMART.

Willi three men aboard an Air . b’orce Baffin Bomber from Wigram crashed into the sea off the coast between Iho North Beach and Waiinai'i shortly before noon today. An hour later the wrecked machine was still afloat about half a mile off shore lint it is

not known whether any of hei crew were alive.

The Air Force is making arrangements to rescue them.

The men aboard the aeroplane were: Flight-Lieutenant A. D. Poulton, AirCraftsman Birbeck and Air Craftsman Strachan.

Later. —All throe of the crew of the crashed plane are dead.
