EDUCATION INSTITUTE

CONFERENCE OF SECRETARIES.

WELCOMED BY THE MAYOR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, February 2. When we see what is taking! place on the other side of the world i we wonder if we have not lost some of the things money cannot buy. and ail we can hope for is that this horrible conflict will be brought to a satisfactory conclusion and the nations of the world will be able to devote that time and energy to the betterment of mankind.” The secretaries attending the conference are: —Messrs K.
