Mrs L. Pearson, Auckland, has been visiting Masterton. Miss L. Allan (Wellington) is a guest at the Empire Hotel (Masterton). Mrs T. Clements and family. Wellington, are at present staying with Mrs L. Nolan, Carterton.
Mrs R. Shepherd, of Auckland, is visiting Carterton and staying with hetsister. Miss E. Martin, "Waitangi."
Miss R. Thompson (Wellington) is staying at the Empire Hotel (Masterton).
Mrs J. Harder, Hamilton, is visiting her mother, Mrs Hanley. Perry Street, Masterton.
Mrs A. Page and daughter Marjorie, of Taihape. are staying with Miss E. Martin, "Waitangi.” Carterton. Mr and Mrs R. Brown (Wellington) were guests recently at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Mesdames G. Brown and J. Clarke and. families. Renall Street, Masterton, have returned to Masterton from a holiday spent at Paraparaumu Beach.
Mrs D. A. Cameron, of Pownall Street, Masterton. and Mrs E. M. Engstrom, of Colombo Road. Masterton. are attending, as delegates of the Masterton branch, the summer school of the League of Nations Union at Lower Hutt.
At the luncheon party given by Miss Nora Robinson, in honour of Miss Jocelyn Betts, who is to be married on Saturday, the guests were Mrs Harry Robinson, Mrs D. Young, Mrs J. V. Reed, Mrs N. R.
