Miss J. Sellar, Renall Street, Masterton, is spending a few days in. Palmerston North.
Guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton, include Mr and Mrs A. W. Foote, Wellington. Miss Maxine McLaren, Rangitumau, is staying with Mrs Guy McAllum, New Plymouth. Mr and Mrs W. F. McLaren, Rangitumau, have returned from a motor trip to Wanganui and New Plymouth.
Mrs Stubbings and Miss Enid Stubbings have returned to Masterton after spending a holiday in Marlborough.
Mr and Mrs F. Parkinson, who have been staying at ’’Kent House," Masterton, left yesterday for their home in Wellington. Mr and Mrs E. Ollivcr, of Dannevirke, are visitors to Masterton and are among guests staying at the Empire Hotel. Miss Elizabeth Thomas, of Masterton, who has been spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs L. H. Arcus at New Plymouth, has returned home.
It is the intention of a number of Featherston friends to attend the wedding of Miss Mabel Dohnt which will take place at Masterton on Saturday. Mrs T. Burr and Misses N. and V. Burr, of Pahiatua, and formerly of Masterton, have been on a visit to Wellington and New Plymouth. Mrs C. A. Peters, Miss Peters and Master Peters, Auckland, are visitors to Masterton and are staying at the Midland Hotel.
Mrs W. J. Miller, Herbert Street, Masterton, who, with her two daughters have been on a visit to Wellington, has returned to Masterton.
Miss Jocelyn Belts, whose marriage will take place this week, was the guest of Mrs Trevor Beetham at a largely attended morning tea, and of Miss Nora Robinson at a luncheon at which a number of friends were present, both functions being of a most enjoyable character.
