FANTASTIC LIES

NAZI VERSION OF -FRENCH WAR AIMS,

PARTITION OF GERMANY.

An example of how the Nazis are trying to whip up the war fervour of their people is shown in an article in “Angriff,” which publishes a fantastic account of French war aims. It tells its readers that France proposes to take all the territory from the left bank of the Rhine; Poland would have up to the Oder; the German province of Saxony is to be joined to Czechoslovakia and Bavaria is to be placed under Austrian rule.

Needless to say, the French Government has never proposed a vindictive peace on terms of this kind. The only reason for such an article is that the Nazis hope to persuade their people that the Allies are out to partition Germany, and not to overthrow the perpetual menace of the Nazii regime. —By radio.
