SWIMMING CLUB LAST NIGHT'S MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The weekly meeting of the Eketahuna Swimming Club was held last evening. Despite the inclement weather there was a good attendance ol spectators, who witnessed some very close contests. At the conclusion of the swimming events a Possible v. Probable water polo match was played for the purpose of selecting the team to represent the club against Masterton at Masterton next Tuesday night in the first round of the knock-out competition, the draw for which is:—Dannevirke v. Woodville-Pahiatua; Masterton v. Eketahuna. The local boys have been practising hard and feel confident of securing a win against Masterton. The result of last evening's match was: Probables 2, Possibles 0.
