Halifax. —Swordfishin goperations off Canada’s Atlantic coast during the past season were the best in three years, with a total commercial catch of almost 1,780,000 pounds This, of course, does not include the catches brought in by sport fishermen who are attracted to these Canadian fisheries in everincreasing numbers every year. Swordfish livers are today in big demand owing to the high “Vitamin D” content in the oil, and 37,000 pounds of this commodity were marketed this year.
