SUCCESSFUL “MERCHANT WARFARE.”

A high command communique states that reconnaissance troops took several prisoners south-east of Pirmasens, killed several enemy soldiers and suffered no losses.
The Navy has been conducting during recent weeks successful merchant warfare in the North Sea. Baltic and Atlantic. German mine-sweepers and patrol boats are continuing their activities systematically.
