OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS
FOOD FOR DIABETICS (To the Editor.) Sir, —I would like to draw the attention of the powers that be, to the hardship imposed on a number of unfortunate people who are on a diet through being unable to obtain their supply of starch-free bread, viz., diabetic rolls and Ryvita Crisp Bread, both imported and important articles for us. I should be glad if anyone could give us some idea as to when we may expect to obtain these articles, or are we to be hurried off this mortal coil before our time? Thanking you for space,— 1 am, etc, M.M.L.P.. Masterton, .January 23. Diabetic rolls are still procurable in Masterion, though they are in short supply. The bread mentioned by our correspondent is no longer procurable but many other diabetic lines, such as specially prepared flour and jams, it is stated, are obtainable. —Ed.
