CHURCH SERVICES
* The Rev. J. Dickie will conduct both services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow, and at Wangaehu in the afternoon. The service of the Masterton Baptist Fellowship will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Hall at 11 a.m. tomorrow, and will be conducted by a speaker from Wellington. Friends and visitors will be cordially welcomed to the service.
The Rev. Fred. J. Parker will resume his ministry in the Methodist Church tomorrow after a vacation period spent in Auckland. At the morning service the subject will be “The Renewals of Life,” while that at the evening will be “The Bounds God Sets,” being a holiday meditation.
The morning service at the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by Mr E. Steer. At the Methodist service at Mt. Bruce at 2 p.m. tomorrow the Rev. Fred. J. Parker will be the preacher. Meetings will be held in the Salvation Army Hall tomorrow at 7 a.m., 11 a.m.. and 7 p.m.. when the speaker will be Lieut. Tooley.
The Rev. J. Davie will be the preacher at the Knox Church services tomorrow morning and evening, and at Matahiwi at 2 p.m. A service will be held at Solway on Thursday night. The vicar will preach tomorrow at the morning service at St. Matthew’s Church, and at Kuripuni in the evening. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will be the evening preacher at St. Matthew's Church. The usual services will be held at Tauerti. Rangitumau and Kopuaranga.
At the morning service at Knox Church tomorrow, reference will be made by the Rev. J. Davie to the death of Mr David Guild,
