CARTERTON

BOWLING RINK FOR GREYTOWN. ("Times-Age” Special.) The following rink of Carterton bowlers will take part in the Greytown tournament on Monday:— Messrs Smith, Stent, Hart, Barber (s). P. & T. ROSE MEDALS. A rink of Wellington Post and Telegraph bowlers are today playing a match for the P. and T. Rose Medals against the holders, Messrs Simmonds and Rigg (s). The match is being played on the Carterton green and will comprise two games of 21 heads each. In the event of each team securing a win a further game of 16 heads will be played. Personal. Mr Geo. Thompson, late manager of the Taratahi Cheese Factory, is a visitor to Carterton. Mr Thompson, who has been in Whakatane for some time has been transferred to Waimate. He will leave for the south next week.
