EXPORTS FROM UNITED STATES. FIGHTING DEPARTMENTS ALARMED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.25 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 19. The War and Navy Departments, recalling their warning of October 11 that abnormal exports of strategic materials would weaken national defence, declare that it may be necessary to halve large exports of crude rubber, tin. unless voluntary co-operation increases. A greatly increased re-export of pig tin to Europe is a matter for much concern.
