In a Gawith Shield match Memorial defeated Martinborough on Saturday by 15 matches. 22 sets. .185 games to 4 matches, 3 sets, 153 games. The match was played at Martinborough and owing to rain in the latter part of the day only one combined doubles match was played. As Memorial had a clear cut margin the issue was not in doubt.
