AMERICAN PLANES COLLIDE IN MID-AIR. (British Official Wireless.) SAN DIEGO (California), Jan. 13. Two United States Navy torpedo planes collided in mid-air. Five men of the crews parachuted and suffered minor injuries. One pilot was killed. The planes have not been located.
