DOMINION TOURNAMENT RINKS CHAMPIONSHIP. HALF THE GAMES COMPLETED. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. With half the games completed in the section play of the fours of the Dominion centennial bowling tournament which was continued on Saturday, eight players were left with four wins each. They were W. Bremner (West End, Auckland), C. Spearman (Sydenham)', A. Dickinson (Avon, New Plymouth), F. G. Hazlewood (Lyall Bay), W. F. Hadwin (Hutt), W. D. Ramsay (Shirley), P. Munn (Canterbury) and O. Silbery (Petone). Further northerly winds affected play to a certain extent during the day and in the afternoon rain fell, but play was continued during the showers which made the greens dead. Bremner and Spearman have been playing fine bowls throughout the tournament. Spearman has already qualified for the final rounds of both the singles and the pairs.
