MARTINBOROUGH SALE.
WELL-GROWN LAMBS IN DEMAND.
Messrs Dalgety and Co Ltd., report having, held a stock sale at Martinborough on Thursday last when a good yarding of lambs was offered. Competition for well-grown lambs in good condition was keen, but medium and small were not keenly sought' after, and for these prices seemed in buyers’ favour. A pen of store four-tooth wethers were sold at 17s 3d. Prices were as follow: —Woolly wether lambs, 11s lOd to 16s 9d; med b.f.’s 15s 3d; med w.w. lambs, 6s 2d, 6s 9d, 8s 6d to 9s 8d; med shorn wether lambs, 7s, 7s 6d to 9s 6d; small do., 5s 7d to 6s 2d; med w.w. lambs 10s 2d to- 14s; med shorn ewe lambs, 8s Id to 10s.
