BRITISH OFFER ACCEPTED. RELIEF OF EARTHQUAKE SUFFERERS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) RUGBY, January 12. The Turkish Government has accepted the offer of the British Government to send supplies to Turkey for the relief of victims of the earthquake. These consist of medical stores, including dressings for 2,500 persons and two complete medical field chests. 3.000 blankets and flour and other provisions for 2,000 persons for two months. The total value of these supplies is over £ 20,000.
