AMERICAN LOANS
MADE TO SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES. SWEDEN LIKELY SOON TO PARTICIPATE. WASHINGTON, January 12. The United States’ loans to Finland and Norway will probably be followed by a loan of at least 10.000,000 dollars to Sweden, making the total 30,000,000 dollars lent to the three Scandinavian States. The credits are not to be used for war materials, but will free an equal amount of Scandinavian holdings in the United States for this purpose.
