TREATMENT OF WOUNDS
NEW METHODS DEVISED BY RUSSIANS. USE OF SKIN AND BLOOD FROM DEAD. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) MOSCOW. January 11. The Press reports that Soviet surgeons have found a new method of treating wounds in the Russo-Finnish war. Chemically treated skin from the bodies of men recently killed, grafted on wounded men relieves pain within three hours and heals in fifteen days. It is also claimed that extraordinary successes have been achieved in the transfusion of blood from the dead.
