TURKISH DISASTER
EARTHQUAKE DEAD TOTAL 25,000 EIGHTY THOUSAND PERSONS INJURED. VAST DESTRUCTION OF HOMES. Official figures giving the casualties in the recent earthquake and flooding disasters in Turkey have now been made available, stated a Daventry broadcast last night. It is announced that 25,000 ' were killed, 80,000 were injured and 30.000 homes were destroyed.
