ALLIES AND TURKEY
COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT SIGNED. GERMANY DISPLACED AS SUPPLIER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. PARIS, January 8. A commercial and financial agreement between Britain. France and Turkey has been signed. The terms are not disclosed, but it is believed that the agreement further implements the political pact. The opinion is expressed that the agreement will mean that Britain and France will replace Germany in the supply of equipment for the Turkish army.
