The aternoon tea hostesses in connection with the Martinborough Lawn Tennis Association’s competitions next Saturday are Mrs Pain and the Misses R. Kershaw, lorns and A. Harding. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs Shearer, of Lower Hutt, are guests of Mr and Mrs Kitching. Miss M. Tyler, who is visiting her parents, will leave on Friday to return to Auckland. Mr K. Sutherland, of Wellington, has been visiting his aunt, Mrs A. Aitchison. Mrs S. Rolfe is the guest of her sister. Mrs N. Lundon. Mr and Mrs W. Hayman have returned home to Lower Hutt, having been the guests of Mr W. Bonis. Mrs W. Bonis and Mrs Lister are visitors to Christchurch. Mr and Mrs Holland have recently been visitors to the Hutt, where they were the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Holland. Mr and Mrs Roper have recently returned from a fortnight’s holiday. Mr and Mrs Pike left today on their annual holiday. Mr and Mrs K. Hanlon, of Wellington, are visiting Mr and Mrs D. Findley. Miss Isla Davidson and her mother are spending several weeks’ holiday in Auckland, where they are the guests of Mrs Alan McCarthy.
