REPORTED PLOT IN U.S.A. FOUND TO BE BASELESS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. ‘(Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 8. Mr J. Edgar Hoover, chief of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, revealed that G-men were investigating a reported plot to blow up the Boulder Dam, resulting in recommendations for future safeguards. The Justice Department later announced that an investigation has disclosed no evidence of sabotage against the Boulder Dam.
