STEADY RESPONSE

RECRUITING IN WAIRARAPA. FURTHER 13 ENROLMENTS. The steady response in the Wairarapa recruiting area to the call to arms received a stimulus this morning when a further 13 men offered their services for service overseas. The following enlistments were received at the Masterton Defence Office over the weekend: —Messrs R. G. F. Clarke, P. L. Claridge, R. Radcliffe, R. Paku (Masterton); V. W. Bass, C. L. Baird, G. J. Ronalds (Martinborough); B. J. Rhodes. S. E. Feild (Greytown); J. P. Drew. G. Fuge, C. J. Viles (Featherston). and A. L. Parker (Carterton). Enlistments for the Special Force to date now total 380 recruits.
