DEATH SENTENCE
f PASSED ON POLISH WOMAN. GERMAN OFFICIAL STATEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) BERLIN, January 5. It is officially announced that a 45-year-old-Polish woman has been sentenced to death. It is alleged she wore a non-com’s uniform and was among the first to take up arms against the Germans at Bromberg. She fetched Germans from their homes to be shot, and incited Poles to deeds of violence.
