The National Boxing Association has threatened to withdraw Armstrong’s world welterweight title unless he fights Miltaron, Charley Burley or Pedro Montanez by January 12. It refused to recognise last night’s fight as one in defence of the title, declaring that Ghnouly was finished eight years ago.
