BEAVER CLUB

CANADIAN HEADQUARTERS IN LONDON. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 4. The old headquarters of the London County Council in Spring Gardens are now being converted into a centre for recruiting and rest for Canadian troops in London. It is to be known as the Beaver Club, and it is hoped it will be ready by the middle of February. It will, it is hoped, be a worthy successor to the famous Beaver Hut in the Strand, which afforded similar opportunities to Canadians during the last war. _____
