Expeditionary Force), eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. C. Holms, of Waipukurau, and formerly of Featherston and Masterton. HOLDSWORTH—DAWSON. The engagement is announced between Joan, only daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Dawson, Bay Trees. Kent. England, and Flying Officer Alex B. S. Holdsworth, Royal Air Force. England, only son of Mr and Mrs Sidney Holdsworth, 24 Sussex Street. Masterton.
