Leatham. Napier, are at the Hotel Midland, Masterton. Mr and Mrs Morgan, Perry Street, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs P. G. Ramsay and family, Essex Street, Masterton, are on holiday at Paraparaumu.
Mr and Mrs S. V. Gooding, Masterton, are the guests of Mr H. G. Ashworth, Coromandel Street, Wellington. Mr and Mrs A. J. O’Cain, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs O’Cain’s parents, Mr and Mrs' H. M. Morton, Lansdowne. Mrs Stan Moore. Lincoln Road. Masterton, is spending a holiday in the South Island. An Auckland visitor to Pahiatua is Mrs J. H. Bennett, who is the guest of Mrs A. E. Aston.
Mrs J. Caldwell, Hessey Street, Masterton. is visiting Wellington, and is staying with her daughter, Miss N. Caldwell.
Mrs Guy Holmes, Sussex Street. Masterton, has returned to Masterton after spending lhe holidays at Otaki Bench and Wellington. The Rev G. K. Aitken (formerly Presbyterian minister in Featherston) and Mrs Aitken celebrated their diamond wedding recently. Mr and Mrs Aitken were married in Glasgow, and arrived in Australia about thirty-four years ago, and after a few years came to New Zealand, where they have resided for thirty years. Mr Aitken, who celebrated .his 81st birthday on November 12, was born at Montrose. The birthplace of Mrs Aitken, whose 83rd birthday was on Christmas Eve, is Auchinblae, at the foot of the Grampian Hills.
