FRIDAY (tonight): Gracie Fields and Sydney Howard will launch the year’s happiest entertainment, “Shipyard Sally.” This is without doubt Grade’s best picture and features the new song hit “Wish Me Luck as You Wave me Goodbye.” Supports include Airmail International Newsreels and latest Fox Aussie News. Gracie, the idol of the British and French soldiers, will be heard in many of the songs she sang recently to British and French soldiers in France. WEDNESDAY, January 10: A new screen team in a new triumph — Michael Redgrave (star of “The Lady
Vanishes”) and Jessie Matthews in “Climbing High,” a scintillating British comedy. The cast includes Noel Madison, Alastair Sim and Margaret Vyner. On the same programme will screen Bebe Daniels and Ben Lyon in a peril packed adventure that flashes excitedly from ocean liner to city streets, "Not Wanted on Voyage." FRIDAY. January 12: Ginger Rogers (star of "Bachelor Mother"), in one of the new season's outstanding romantic comedies, "Fifth Avenue Girl.” In the cast are Walter Connolly, Verree Teasdale, James Ellison and Tim Holt. COMING SOON: "The Lion Has Wings,” "Stanley and Livingstone," “Charlie Chan at Treasure Island,” and "Nurse Edith Cavell.” COSY.
