The dainty little wife went to a lawyer to seek a divorce. Lawyer: "Have you weighty grounds for divorce? ’ Wife: "Yes. desertion.” Lawyer: “That is a good reason. When did your husband, desert you?” Wife: "Yesterday afternoon. I. was looking in the window of a milliner's shop, and he just went on.”
