The employer, who was out of the office a good deal on business, was rather worried about the behaviour of bis typist while he was away. One morning he asked her: "I hope you don't just sit and twiddle your thumbs when I'm not in the office. "Oh. no. the girl replied. "1 have my embroidery.”
