“NATIONAL BUTTER”
PRICE FIXED IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, January 3. A regulation which is to be enforced from January 8 maintains the retail price of butter at 19 pence. It has been decided that all butter will be known as “'national butter,” which will be the only two words permissible on wrappers after February 1.
