AIR EXPANSION
♦ U.S.A. ORDERS 52 NEW SQUADRONS TO BE ON STATIONS IN MONTH. ALL TYPES OF UNITS INCLUDED. Jy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. WASHINGTON, December 29. The Wai- Department today ordered the creation of 52 new army air corps squadrons. They are to be stationed by February 1 in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Canal zone, Hawaii, and Alaska, This is one of the largest expansions of : the air corps in history. It comprises bombardment, pursuit, reconnaissance and observation units.
