POST OFFICE HOURS
NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. On New Year’s Day (Monday next) the Masterton Post Office will be closed in all branches. All mails for despatch on this date will close at 6.30 a.m. Postmen's deliveries and rural deliveries will be suspended. The Castlepoint private bag service will be performed on Saturday. December 30. the Stronvar private bag service will be performed on Tuesday, January 2. and the Homewood private bag service will be performed on Wednesday. January 3, instead of New Year's Day. The Te Wharau private bags will be despatched as usual on Monday. January 1. The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. A counter delivery of all correspondence (Including registered) will be made between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 30.
