CRY OF ROMANCE
ABOUT GRETA GARBO
Hollywood is crying "romance" once again about Greta Garbo. This lime she is supposed to be in love with Dr. Gaylord Hauser, famous specialist here. They have been in each other’s company a great deal, and that, is enough to set Hollywood gossip tongues wagging. Greta's romance with Leopold Stokowski evidently is cold. It is said that she broke it oil because of too much*attendant publicity. it is doubtful if Greta ever will got married. Some years ago she tool: ' a mysterious motor trip with director R.oubcn Mamoulian, and the papers hinted it was an elopement, but nothing came of it. The late Jack Gilbert, star of the silent era. once got the silent Swede as far as the steps of the Santa Ana City Hall to get a marriage licence when she made her now famous classic line: "Ay tank Ay go home."
