“MAJOR BARBARA”
BERNARD SHAW’S NEXT PICTURE. The production of George Bernard Shaw’s comedy “Major Barbara,” will definitely start early in January and so soon as completed will be released throughout New Zealand. The part of "Major Barbara" a Salvation Army lassie was written for Shaw by the late Ellen Terry who scored heavily in the role. ‘ Major Barbara” in the picture will be played by Wendy Hiller who created such a profound impression as “Eliza Doolittle” in Shaw's “Pygmalion.”
