The Boxing Day progressive pairs tournament conducted by the Park Bowling Club yesterday proved as popular as ever and drew a full list of entries from players representing many clubs throughout the Dominion Besides the Masterton and Park players competitors were present fyom Taranaki. Wanganui. Wellington, Nelson and Dunedin. Play commenced under ideal weather conditions and. although a thunderstorm held up play for half an hour in the afternoon, the series of six rounds was completed. The winners were J.
