NEW LOG DEMANDS. SERVED ON SYDNEY OWNERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The Federal Management Committee of the Waterside Workers’ Federation has served a log of claims upon employers for improved wages and conditions for members employed in all ports in Australia. About twenty thousand members of the Federation are covered by the. log demands, which include an increase in pay from 2s lOd per hour to 4s fid per hour for waterside workers and a fortnight’s annual holiday with pay.
