MORE RECRUITS
ENLISTMENTS IN MASTERTON. SEVEN YESTERDAY & TODAY. Recruits are enlisting fairly freely at the Masterton Defence Office, the total enrolments to date now having reached 328. The Government recruiting campaign is having a beneficial effect on enlistments, seven recruits enrolling yesterday and today. The men were:— Messrs S. H. Spicer (CompanyQuartermaster, C. Company, Hawke’s Bay Regiment, Masterton): W. J. Charles, H. Woodham (Featherston); Gerald 'Stewart (Kahutara); P. Clarke, Devon Street, Masterton, L. R. Flood, and W. A. Taplin, Masterton.
