&, SOME USES FOR IT. It will wash tiles and clear moss and green marks off walls. After washing the tiles, rinse them with clean water. It is excellent for softening washingup water, and may be used for all scrubbing and cleaning purposes, it makes boards snowly white. It is a splendid bleacher, so when soaking or boiling white clothes, add 1 a cup to every gallon of water, do not use as much as soap as usual, it makes’ clothes beautifully white, and the dirt is very easily removed. It can be painted on walls before re-papering, to prevent dampness, it keeps out the damp, and makes the. walls dry. First of all wipe off all mould, and refrain from papering until quite dry.
