ADMIRAL DARLAN
VISIT TO GREAT BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY. December 22. Admiral Darlan. Commander-in-Chief of the French naval forces is now on a visit to Britain. Today he concluded a tour of the naval establishments at Portsmouth. I Accompanied by the Commander-in-Chief (Sir Charles Forbes) he was shown over the motor torpedo boat and torpedo and mining establishment, and witnessed aircraft firing. Admiral Darlan has been in consultation during his visit with the First Lord of the Admiralty. Mr Winston Churchill, on Allied naval matters.
